Dr Cassar’s rooms will reopen after the Christmas break on Monday 11 January as scheduled. If you have an appointment scheduled please note that accessing medical appointments is acceptable during lockdown. Masks will need to be worn by everyone; social distancing will be adhered to. Wherever possible patients should attend their appointment without additional people. Further updates will be provided as the situation evolves.
Dr Jason Cassar provides comprehensive ophthalmic service specialising in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders involving the retina, macula and vitreous at two convenient locations in Brisbane (Taringa and Sunnybank).
He is highly skilled, experienced and is able to ensure best treatment options for patients. He has access to state of the art ophthalmic equipment and resources as well as specialist support staff.
The nature of vitreo-retinal disorders mean that many patients may be referred with conditions requiring urgent treatment – Dr Cassar is available for emergency consultations, which help to facilitate optimal outcomes.
